Job summary

GreenState Credit Union in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Member Service Associate to deliver exceptional service and cultivate member relationships. You will balance cash, greet members, and identify opportunities to offer our products and services.

The role emphasizes teamwork, confidentiality, and adherence to credit union policies. You will engage with members, conduct outbound calls, and coordinate with specialists in Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Insurance to meet member needs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of similar MSR experience or related credit union product knowledge.
• Strong sales ability and interpersonal skills to represent the credit union professionally.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize in a fast-paced branch environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling member accounts.
• Compliance with regulations and ability to balance cash responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to service standards and greet members with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Balance cash drawer daily and follow cash handling policies.
• Ask questions to uncover member needs and propose appropriate GreenState products.
• Build relationships and refer to specialists for additional services.
• Make outbound sales calls and participate in promotions to support team goals.
• Protect member confidentiality and ensure proper verification for information requests.
• Maintain knowledge of deposits, loans, and related policies and procedures.
