Job summary

VyStar Credit Union is seeking a Relationship Specialist I to deliver exceptional member experiences in both in-person and phone interactions. You will identify member needs, present VyStar solutions, and grow consumer and business relationships through quality conversations and referrals.

Ideal candidates have strong listening and communication skills, a friendly outgoing personality, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree preferred.
• Previous sales or customer service experience is beneficial, ideally in financial services.
• Strong communication and ability to build member relationships.

Responsibilities

• Use each member interaction to provide exceptional experiences on the phone and in person.
• Identify member cues, ask discovery questions, and grow relationships with solutions.
• Position consumer and business deposit, credit, insurance, and investment solutions appropriately.
• Handle personal and business account transactions and loan applications.
• Explain basics of credit and savings options and refer more complex products.
• Provide services such as notary, wire transfer, and other member services.
• Support campaigns and initiatives while complying with guidelines.
• Exercise sound judgment and operate with independence and integrity.
• Maintain professional demeanor and proactive member engagement.
• Escalate complex concerns as needed while seeking a favorable resolution.
