Job summary

Planet Fitness in the United States is seeking a friendly Member Services Representative to deliver an exceptional, judgement-free experience for members and guests. You will greet visitors, assist with sign-ups and updates, and promote the brand on the club floor.

You will handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and contribute to monthly goals while maintaining clean facilities and a welcoming environment that mirrors Planet Fitness CORE values.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness)
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assist with questions at check-in.
• Promote Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members on the club floor and offering support.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate to the Club Manager as needed.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with inquiries.
• Perform membership functions: sign-ups, updates, cancellations, collect unpaid balances and transfer memberships.
• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club goals.
• Conduct prospective member calls and tours to assess membership needs.
• Execute retail transactions and drive sales metrics.
• Regularly clean and sanitize equipment and Recovery Zone areas; keep restrooms clean and stocked.
• Walk the club to address safety, policy issues, and cleanliness.
• Address maintenance issues promptly (e.g., broken equipment) and communicate openly.
• Uphold CORE values and foster strong relationships with members.
