Job summary

Dover Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member Experience Specialist to welcome members and guests, perform clerical and member service duties, and support branch operations. You will handle routine transactions, provide information on services, and maintain confidentiality while delivering courteous, efficient service.

The role emphasizes meeting sales/service goals, product knowledge, and accurate processing of payments and forms.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of high school education, plus appropriate specialized training.
• Requires intermediate mathematical skills (percentages, fractions, decimals, etc.).
• Requires at least 6 months of related experience (excellent member service, attentiveness, organizational skills, tact & diplomacy).
• Requires professional, well-developed interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Requires basic typing/word processing skills.
• Requires compliance with all credit union policies, procedures, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Meets sales and service goals, ethically referring appropriate products to members.
• Provide routine information on Credit Union services, eligibility, accounts, and policies.
• Perform routine member transactions with proper CIP and confidentiality.
• Maintain and update account information, online banking, passwords, and statements.
• Handle cash, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and checks.
• Answer calls, route messages, and provide receipts for payments.
• Coordinate with marketing for lobby promotions and materials.
• Process applications and establish new accounts for eligible members.
• Provide Notary service and assist with branch support as needed.
