Job summary

Coosa Valley Credit Union in Rockmart, GA, seeks a motivated Member Specialist for our Rockmart Branch. You will deliver excellent member service in person and across channels, process transactions, open new accounts, and promote credit union products.

The role emphasizes compliance with BSA/OFAC and branch procedures, with opportunities to cross-train and grow within a values-driven community financial cooperative.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Banking and customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Advanced computer skills: 10-key calculator, multi-line phone, scanners, copiers, fax.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent member service in branch, via email, chat, and phone.
• Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and more.
• Learn and promote credit union products and services to members.
• Open new accounts and process requests by members.
• Maintain compliance with BSA/OFAC and other regulations.
• Assist with branch balancing, night drop, ATM processing, and audits.
• Participate in training and cross-training to stay current.
• Protect member identification and privacy; follow security procedures.
