Job summary

Georgia’s Own Credit Union in Roswell, GA is seeking a customer-focused Universal Banker to deliver exceptional member service in person, by phone, and online, while identifying needs and promoting suitable deposit and loan products. You will open accounts, process transactions, assist with loans, and support branch goals.

Candidates should have strong communication, a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), 1–3 years in financial services, and proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and equivalent years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a financial branch environment or in a retail sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service through in-person, telephone, and digital member interactions.
• Build and strengthen member relationships by identifying needs and recommending products and services.
• Open consumer and business membership accounts.
• Assist members with account maintenance, problem resolution, and service requests.
• Process and support consumer loan applications and related documentation.
• Conduct consultative conversations to identify deposit, lending, and relationship-growth opportunities.
• Maintain timely follow-up with members and document interactions in designated systems.
• Promote Credit Union products and services through referrals, education, and relationship management.
• Support branch service, production, and member-experience goals.
• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and account maintenance transactions.
