Job summary

Planet Fitness - Baseline Fitness is seeking a friendly front desk associate to drive new member sales and create a positive member experience. You will greet guests, answer phones, provide tours, assist with sign-ups and cancellations, and help manage member accounts at the Iowa City club.

The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, teamwork, and maintaining a clean, welcoming facility. Prior customer service experience and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Comfort with handling inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist potential members to provide a positive guest experience.
• Handle front desk tasks including answering calls and providing information.
• Support member sign-ups, cancellations, and account updates; assist with tours and sign-ins.
• Maintain club cleanliness and organization to promote a welcoming environment.
• Resolve simple member services questions or escalate to the Manager as needed.
