South Shore YMCA is seeking an Associate Member Services team member in Quincy, MA. You will warmly welcome members, answer questions about programs and schedules, and process registrations at a professional front desk.

You will handle incidents, maintain a safe lobby, assist with cash handling procedures and build relationships with members while encouraging new memberships. This role requires friendly communication and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, greet and engage all members and visitors, focusing on safety and enrichment.
• Process membership registrations and other front desk transactions accurately.
• Handle incidents with staff and members and report to the Member Service Directors.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby; report maintenance issues.
• Build relationships with members and recruit new members.
• Provide up-to-date information on programs, schedules and policies.
• Become proficient with all software used at the front desk.
• Ensure compliance with South Shore YMCA Child Protection Policies.
• Assist in volunteer development and community involvement.
• Represent YMCA with a friendly, professional manner.
