Job summary

The YMCA of Florida's First Coast in Yulee, FL is hiring a part-time Welcome Center associate. You will greet members, assist guests, interview and tour prospective members, and sell memberships to help meet branch goals.

This role requires a high school diploma, strong interpersonal skills, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to pass a Level 2 background check. The position offers an hourly rate of $15 and a free YMCA branch membership.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Previous customer service, sales or related experience.
• Must pass Level 2 Background Screening.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the branch and on the phone, contributing to member retention.
• Interviews and/or tours prospective members; sells memberships.
• Closes tours at branch goal.
• Builds relationships with members; helps members connect with one another and to the YMCA.
• Contributes to branch retention rate.
• Applies YMCA policies dealing with member services.
• Acts professionally; maintains accurate weekly attendance records and adheres to cleaning standards.
