Job summary

Planet Fitness is hiring a Front Desk Associate to deliver a warm, member-focused experience at our club. You will greet members, assist with check-ins, answer questions, process sign-ups, and promote our Judgement Free Zone.

The role requires strong communication, a willingness to learn during training, and a commitment to a clean, welcoming environment. Expect to handle phones, sign-ups, tours for new members, and supportive club operations.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness)
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assisting them with any questions or concerns as they check in.
• Help to promote our Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members on the club floor and supporting fitness journeys.
• Resolve member concerns and elevate to a Manager as needed.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with inquiries.
• Perform membership related functions such as sign-ups, updates, cancellations, collections, and transfers.
• Execute tours for prospective members; assess membership needs.
• Maintain retail transactions and drive sales goals.
• Regular cleaning and sanitising of equipment and facilities; ensure restrooms are clean and stocked.
