Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Front Desk Associate to deliver first-rate service and foster member satisfaction while promoting Ignite Fitness Holdings-Planet Fitness Mission, Vision and Values. The Front Desk Associate must balance multiple tasks with a friendly, courteous demeanor.

Responsibilities include welcoming members, answering questions, handling payments, and promoting memberships and promotions in a busy club environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months face-to-face customer service in retail; one year in fitness industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and bid farewell to members in a confident, professional, friendly manner.
• Anticipate members' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all members.
• Provide gracious and efficient telephone service with accurate information.
• Resolve customer concerns using strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain club cleanliness for up to 50% of the shift.
• Deliver prompt service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Accept payments, make change and issue receipts.
• Promote benefits and promotions to drive revenue.
• Answer questions and explain policies clearly.
