Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a front desk associate to deliver a superior member experience in a busy club environment. You will greet members, check them in, answer questions, and promote fitness classes while upholding Planet Fitness standards.

The role requires a positive attitude, reliability, basic computer skills, and the ability to work as part of a dynamic team in person at the club.

Qualifications

• Positive, friendly attitude and customer-focused mindset.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency with attention to accuracy.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills; professional interaction with members and teammates.
• Positive leadership and diplomacy in a team setting.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests, provide exceptional customer service and make them feel welcome.
• Answer phones courteously and assist callers with questions.
• Check in members, sign up new members, and log amenities.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to keep workouts engaging.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the club.
• Track performance indicators such as guest counts and inquiries.
• Assist with inventory and marketing efforts where applicable.
