Job summary

YMCA of Saginaw invites a proactive Y Concierge to manage the Welcome Desk, ensuring a high-quality, positive member experience. You will work with the Director of Operations toward annual goals and support membership growth through excellent service and program knowledge.

This role may require early morning hours, evenings, and weekends, and demands strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to YMCA practices and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written, and active listening communication skills.
• Ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds, ages, and lifestyles.
• CPR certified; basic First Aid knowledge.
• Ability to supervise employees and manage performance.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project-management skills.
• Comfort with computer software; Daxko experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Have passion for the YMCA mission and live out core values in interactions.
• Provide outstanding customer service at all times and go above and beyond in member interactions.
• Represent the YMCA mission and foster positive member experiences.
• Participate in staff meetings to discuss service quality and improvement opportunities.
• Recognize and motivate staff to deliver excellent member experiences at the YMCA of Saginaw.
• Maintain membership paperwork and tours for prospective members.
