Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking team members to support merchandise protection, security and member service at our Indiana club. You will help ensure a safe, friendly shopping experience while upholding club policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include monitoring entry/exit activity, assisting members, and executing loss-prevention steps with integrity. The role emphasizes teamwork, speed, and reliable attendance to serve our members effectively.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and an attention to detail are required.
• Basic math skills preferred.
• Ability to use a smart handheld device.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Must be employed with the company for at least 6 months.
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Delivers superior member service at all points of contact, greeting and assisting members in a prompt, friendly, professional manner.
• Maintains merchandise protection procedures and shrink alert protocols.
• Audits cash handling and receipt processes according to store procedures.
• Inspects bags and belongings at exit to ensure security and loss prevention.
• Responds to EAS alarms and escalates issues to management when needed.
• Maintains safety standards and a positive environment for members and team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned and may work in other departments.
