Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Protection Associate to help safeguard stock, assist members, and uphold safety standards throughout the club.

You'll monitor entrances/exits, perform protection procedures, and provide friendly, attentive service while adhering to club policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and an attention to detail are required.
• Basic math skills preferred.
• Ability to use a smart handheld device.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Must be employed with the company for at least 6 months; Indiana: 19+, DE: 21+.

Responsibilities

• Delivers superior member service in a prompt, friendly and professional manner.
• Resolves member concerns and escalates to management when needed.
• Maintains merchandise protection procedures and shrink alert protocols.
• Reviews the AP Alert Binder per standards and flags discrepancies.
• Inspects bags and aids in ensuring a safe environment for members and team members.
