Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is seeking a Member Engagement Specialist at the Benjamin Harrison YMCA in Indianapolis, IN. This role focuses on selling and promoting memberships, programs and services while delivering outstanding member service.

You will work closely with the Member Experience and Engagement Director, serving as a primary contact for prospective members, assessing needs and offering solutions to meet expectations. Evenings and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in business, sales, marketing or communications preferred.
• 1-3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell and promote YMCA memberships, programs and services to meet center goals.
• Serve as the first point of contact for prospective members and assess needs.
• May supervise in the Director's absence and handle member service and sales tasks.
