Job summary

YMCA of Greater Indianapolis in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Director of Membership Growth to drive revenue across all membership categories and programs.

Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Membership Growth, you will partner with center leadership to achieve targets, deploy retention strategies, and ensure consistent, high-quality service aligned with association guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience leading a sales or customer service team preferred.
• 1–2 years in sales development with a track record of strategic planning and achieving goals.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, writing, and negotiation skills essential.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with flexibility in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop membership and program revenue to meet/exceed goals for all membership categories.
• Collaborate with Center Executive/Associate Executive Director and Welcome staff to deploy retention strategies.
• Work with related staff to ensure timely, efficient, and consistent service per association guidelines.
