Job summary

Vantage-Credit-Union is seeking a Member Care Representative to handle inbound calls, chats, and emails with a focus on superior service in a fast-paced environment. You will verify member identity, assess needs, and resolve issues without unnecessary transfers.

Strong communication and empathy are essential as you identify referrals for loans and deposits, meet sales targets, and support team training. Remote options may be available for outstanding performers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in a business-related field is preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience is desirable.
• Familiar with basic banking products and services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls while delivering excellent member service.
• Verify member identity and assess needs; resolve concerns without unnecessary transfers.
• Respond to live chat and email professionally with accuracy.
• Identify loan and deposit referrals; meet sales targets.
• Research and resolve complaints to ensure member retention.
• Train and develop Member Care representatives as assigned.
• Update procedures and look for cross-sell opportunities.
• Encourage potential members to join and explain our services.
• Meet productivity and quality standards; perform additional tasks as assigned.
