Job summary

Georgia's Own Credit Union is seeking a Universal Banker I in Conyers to provide outstanding member service while handling a range of teller and sales duties. You will support deposits, loans, new accounts, and member inquiries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and equivalent years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in a financial branch environment or retail sales is desirable.
• Ability to communicate with members at all levels, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with loan applications and standard internal policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and ensure they feel valued, in person, over the phone, or digitally.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions accurately.
• Open and close Consumer and Business Membership accounts and manage memberships.
• Assist with loan/documentation processes and explain loan decisions to members.
• Maintain adherence to policies, compliance standards, and risk management procedures.
