Job summary

BD is seeking a Territory Manager to grow sales of its infection prevention and biosurgery products across a designated territory. This role focuses on educating surgeons and OR staff, expanding current accounts, and developing new business within a healthcare setting.

The candidate will meet sales targets, maintain product knowledge, and collaborate with district leadership, while following BD policies and maintaining field activities and travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant sales/marketing experience.
• Operating room sales/medical device experience preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD's auto safety standards; background checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage territory base and expand BD product sales in infection prevention and biosurgery.
• Present, educate, and provide in-services to surgeons, OR staff, and other decision makers.
• Develop new prospects and establish new customers within territory.
• Meet territory sales and profitability goals and stay within budget.
• Maintain knowledge of BD products, pricing, discounts, and company policies; plan calls and route accordingly.
