Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Austin, TX seeks a seasoned MedTech Solutions Architect leader to hire, coach, and grow a team that helps medical device customers migrate, modernize, and innovate on the cloud, with regulatory and quality controls in mind.

You will partner with Sales and Business Development, set technical strategy for the MedTech segment, build scalable guidance and reference architectures, and represent AWS to executives and industry forums.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales, technical pre-sales, product development, or customer-facing experience.
• 7+ years of leading a technical team of solution architects or sales engineers.
• Experience migrating or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Solutions Architects supporting MedTech customers, including devices and connected health.
• Set and drive technical strategy for the MedTech segment, including migrations, IoT, SaMD, AI/LLM, smart manufacturing, and supply chain resilience.
• Hire, onboard, train, and develop architects; build AWS medical device domain knowledge.
• Partner with Sales to drive revenue, adoption, and market share for AWS.
• Create scalable guidance: reference architectures, patterns, workshops, enablement.
• Link customers, AWS service teams, and Support; feed MedTech needs into the product roadmap.
• Communicate with executives; write strategy docs and lead tech discussions inside/outside AWS.
• Represent AWS in the MedTech community via briefings, conferences, and thought leadership.
