Job summary

Amazon is seeking a senior leader to hire, coach, and grow a team of Solutions Architects focused on MedTech customers in the US Healthcare and Life Sciences sector. You will design architectures for regulated workloads, drive modernization, and enable executive engagement with customers and partners.

The role requires deep medical device domain knowledge, a background in cloud migrations, and the ability to collaborate with sales, services, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales, technical pre-sales, product development, or customer facing resources experience.
• 7+ years of managing a technical team of solution architects, sales engineers or similar technical roles experience.
• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Solutions Architects supporting strategic MedTech customers, including leaders in medical devices, diagnostics, surgical robotics, and connected health.
• Set and drive technical strategy for the MedTech segment, including large-scale migrations and modernization, IoT platforms, SaMD, AI, and smart manufacturing.
• Hire, onboard, train, and develop Solutions Architects from internal and external sources.
• Partner with Sales and Business Development on account strategy and resourcing to drive revenue and market share.
• Create scalable ways to deliver technical guidance, such as reference architectures and workshops.
• Represent AWS in the MedTech community through briefings and conferences.
• Communicate with senior leaders and write strategic documents.
