Job summary

AWS is seeking an experienced, customer-obsessed leader to hire, coach, and grow a team of Solutions Architects focused on MedTech customers in the US Healthcare and Life Sciences organization. You will guide large-scale migrations, modernizations, connected device platforms, SaMD, generative AI, and smart manufacturing to help customers get to market faster while meeting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales, technical pre-sales, product development, or customer facing resources experience.
• 7+ years of managing a technical team of solution architects, sales engineers or similar technical roles.
• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Solutions Architects supporting MedTech customers, including devices, diagnostics, surgical robotics, and connected health.
• As a key member of the HCLS Solutions Architecture leadership team, set and drive technical strategy for the MedTech segment, including migrations and modernization, IoT, and AI.
• Hire, onboard, train, and develop Solutions Architects from internal and external sources.
• Partner with Sales and Business Development leaders on account strategy and resource planning.
• Create scalable ways to deliver technical guidance, such as reference architectures and workshops.
• Act as a link between customers, AWS service teams, and Support, feeding the product roadmap.
• Communicate clearly with diverse audiences; write strategic documents and lead executive discussions.
• Represent AWS in the MedTech community through briefings, conferences, and thought leadership.
