Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced leader to hire, coach, and grow a team of Solutions Architects dedicated to Medical Technology customers in the US Healthcare and Life Sciences organization.

The role focuses on designing architectures that meet rigorous regulatory demands while accelerating product time-to-market. The candidate will guide senior executives and engineering leaders, develop domain depth in solution selling and architecture, and collaborate with Sales,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales, technical pre-sales, product development, or customer facing resources experience.
• 7+ years of managing a technical team of solution architects, sales engineers or similar technical roles experience.
• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Solutions Architects supporting strategic MedTech customers, including leaders in medical devices, diagnostics, surgical robotics, and connected health.
• Set and drive technical strategy for the MedTech segment, including large-scale migrations and modernization, connected device and IoT platforms, SaMD, generative AI, smart manufacturing, and supply chain resilience.
• Hire, onboard, train, and develop Solutions Architects; build AWS technical depth and medical device domain knowledge.
• Partner with Sales and Business Development leaders on account strategy and resource planning to drive revenue and market share.
• Create scalable ways to deliver technical guidance, such as reference architectures, workshops, and enablement programs.
• Act as a liaison between customers, AWS service teams, and Support to influence the product roadmap for MedTech.
• Communicate and write strategic documents; lead business and technology discussions with senior leaders inside and outside AWS.
• Represent AWS in the MedTech community through executive briefings, industry conferences, and thought leadership.
