Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced MedTech Solutions Architecture leader in the US Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) organization.

You will hire, coach, and grow a team of solutions architects focused on medical devices, diagnostics, robotic surgery, and connected health. You will mentor architects, develop domain depth, and collaborate with Sales, partners, and service teams while shaping the MedTech cloud strategy and product roadmap.

Qualifications

10+ years in sales, technical pre-sales, product development, or customer-facing roles
7+ years managing a technical team of solution architects, sales engineers or similar
Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Solutions Architects supporting strategic MedTech customers
Set and drive technical strategy for the MedTech segment including migrations, IoT platforms, SaMD, AI, smart manufacturing
Hire, onboard, train, and develop Solutions Architects and build domain knowledge
Partner with Sales/BD to drive revenue, adoption and market share
Create scalable methods to deliver technical guidance (reference architectures, patterns, workshops)
Act as a link between customers and AWS service teams and feed customer needs into the product roadmap
Communicate with executives and write strategic documents
Represent AWS in the MedTech community through briefings and conferences
