Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a customer-obsessed leader to hire, coach, and grow a team of Solutions Architects for MedTech customers in the US HCLS organization.

You will drive technical strategy for MedTech, oversee large migrations and connected device architectures, and collaborate with sales, services, and partners to accelerate market adoption. Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales, technical pre-sales, product development, or customer facing resources experience.
• 7+ years of managing a technical team of solution architects, sales engineers or similar technical roles experience.
• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Solutions Architects supporting strategic MedTech customers, including leaders in medical devices, diagnostics, surgical robotics, and connected health.
• Set and drive technical strategy for the MedTech segment, including large-scale migrations, connected device platforms, SaMD, AI and supply chain resilience.
• Hire, onboard, train, and develop Solutions Architects; build AWS technical depth and medical device domain knowledge.
• Partner with Sales and Business Development on account strategy and resource planning to drive revenue and market share.
• Create scalable ways to deliver technical guidance, e.g., reference architectures and workshops.
• Act as a link between customers, AWS service teams, and Support to influence product roadmap.
• Communicate with senior leaders; write strategic documents; lead business and tech discussions.
• Represent AWS in the MedTech community via briefings and conferences.
