Job summary

BD is seeking a Manager of Sales Enablement in the USA (Tempe HQ) to lead the development of sales training curricula and delivery for BD Peripheral Intervention. This role will onboard field representatives, coordinate field rides, and deliver Sales Academy and related trainings across regions.

The ideal candidate has clinical experience in minimally invasive procedures, 3–5 years of sales, and strong instructional design skills. Some remote work is possible with required travel to Tempe.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years clinical experience in minimally invasive endovascular and/or open surgery.
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years documented sales experience preferred. Experience selling disposable or small capital medical products preferred
• Experience selling BDPI devices preferred.
• Extensive disease state knowledge as well as clinical experience in minimally invasive and surgical procedures required.
• Ability to build and maintain excellent business relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Proven success at performing responsibilities with a high degree of flexibility, adaptability, objectivity, discretion, appropriate demeanor and professionalism.
• Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning preferred; experienced stand-up trainer.
• Compelling and articulate speaker who can manage a wide variety of audiences.
• Travel is required as needed, approximately 30%

Responsibilities

• Create, revise, publish, and evaluate self-paced training materials and online eLearning modules.
• Coordinate field ride assignments in collaboration with Regional Manager.
• Manage agenda, curricula and training materials for and presentation/delivery of: Sales Academy, Advanced Sales Academy, Local, National, and Regional Meetings.
• Assists with the development and management of a formalized Learning Management System, Create online eLearning module content and quizzes to support continuous education.
• Monitor and measure all field training activities completed by sales and clinical trainers with new hires.
• Produce monthly and bi-annual updates to track the performance and impact of sales training programs.
• Develop train-the-trainer programs for SME to enhance capabilities and impact of sales training programs.
