Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is hiring an Associate Account Executive to support the Grand Rapids & Lansing, MI territory. You will learn to demonstrate Ethicon surgical technologies to surgeons in operating rooms and drive sales in a fast-paced MedTech environment.

The role requires travel, a bachelor’s degree, and 0–2 years of business experience (or 2+ years preferred); you will work toward advancing to an Account Executive role and be trained in current sales methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; US work authorization.
• 0-2 years business experience; willingness to travel and relocate as needed.
• Valid US driver’s license required.
• Preferred: 2+ years professional sales experience; emphasis in Life Sciences, Medicine or Business.

Responsibilities

• Expand Ethicon US, LLC product sales and convert competitors per policy.
• Support the aligned Area/Region for all sales activities with potential to advance to Account Executive.
• Train to understand and demonstrate proper use of products to healthcare providers in operating rooms.
• Execute the selling cycle concisely, ethically, and to drive customer action.
• Understand and demonstrate proper preparation and surgical use of Ethicon products.
• Manage customer questions/objections per sales training.
• Conduct sales presentations using current methods learned in training.
• Provide case coverage and assist surgeons through strategic platforms in the OR.
• Comply with safety, product knowledge, and company policies.
