Job summary

Bared Monkey Laser is a well-established, growing medspa in Long Island City seeking a friendly and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.

You will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a welcoming, professional experience from entry to departure, while handling scheduling, inquiries, and basic sales support. Training will be provided and discussed during the interview.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college students are welcome to apply
• Experience in front desk, receptionist, customer service, salon, spa or hospitality is a plus
• Experience with Mindbody, Booker or other spa booking software is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and provide a warm, professional first impression
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and maintain excellent telephone etiquette
• Schedule, confirm, and manage client appointments
• Maintain an organized, clean, and professional front desk
• Learn and confidently communicate our services, pricing, promotions, memberships, and upgrade options
• Assist with sales by identifying opportunities to enhance the client experience
• Support daily operations and tasks assigned by management
• Work closely with the team to maintain a positive and efficient spa environment
• Maintain professionalism and composure when handling challenging situations
• Stay knowledgeable about our services and help clients make informed decisions
