Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Medication Technician to safely administer medications to residents as ordered by physicians, under supervision. You will coordinate with pharmacists and doctors, keep accurate MAR records, and monitor residents’ status and changes in their medication needs.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year of medication administration experience, and completion of state-required training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of medication administration experience.
• Experience with elderly clients preferred.
• Completed Medication Administration Course with a passing grade.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy and physician.
• Order additional medications as needed and track changes.
• Maintain MAR charts and resident files with accuracy.
• Prepare medication for distribution per OMG policy.
• Administer medications and document refusals or changes as required.
