Qualifications

• Must have a high school education or equivalent.
• Licensed Medication Aide per state requirements.
• Ability to understand and follow medical procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies for administering medications to residents.
• Note and report errors in medication administration.
• Prepare, administer, and document oral/topical medications as ordered.
• Verify resident identity before medication treatment.
• Maintain accurate charting and documentation of medications.
• Support QA programs and comply with regulatory surveys.
