Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Medication Technician to safely administer medications to residents under physician orders and in accordance with senior staff policies. You will maintain precise med records, report status changes, and assist with scheduling and supply management in a state-compliant facility.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate administration, keeping carts clean and secure, and supporting infection control and safety protocols while providing courteous resident and family

Qualifications

• Criminal record clearance required.
• Must attend required training programs annually.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain resident medication records and document changes as required.
• Report changes in residents’ status related to medications to the Health Services Director.
• Assist with department scheduling and coverage to reduce overtime.
• Keep medicine carts and medication rooms orderly, stocked, and secure.
• Observe and verify medication administration; document refusals and notify supervisor.
• Support infection control practices and universal precautions.
• Assist with tours and public inquiries to support community marketing efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Health Services Director or Journey Program Director.
