Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Medication Technician to provide direct resident care and assist with medications in accordance with orders and state regulations. The role requires maintaining accurate medication records, observing responses to treatments, and ensuring safety and infection control within the facility.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of experience as a Medication Technician, a state-approved certification, and CPR/First Aid credentials, with strong English communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Medication Technician certification from a state-approved program.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• At least 6 months experience in a similar role.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining the physical, social, and psychological environment for residents.
• Administers or assists with medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintains residents' records daily and documents changes and incidents.
• Ensures medication supply room is clean and organized.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
