Job summary

CVS Health in Connecticut seeks a Strategic Initiatives Lead to advance the Medicare Technology strategy and operating model. You will work across technology teams, coordinate with Procurement, Security, Finance and business stakeholders to improve execution and scale initiatives.

You will own Medicare Technology vendor operations, including onboarding, performance, renewals, risk and value realization, and partner with AI Enablement to manage use‑case intake and production progression.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in healthcare IT, strategic planning, or digital transformation.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, technology platforms and regulatory frameworks.
• Project management background.
• Strategy experience in healthcare.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, IT, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own Medicare Technology vendor operations, including vendor inventory, onboarding, performance, renewals, risk and value realization.
• Partner with AI Enablement to manage use‑case intake, qualification, prioritization, status tracking and progression to production.
• Oversee operating and capital expense planning and management for assigned portfolios, including forecasting and variance analysis.
• Lead horizontal initiatives across Medicare Technology, defining cloud strategy and operating models, and improving end‑to‑end delivery.
• Collaborate with Ventures, Procurement, and other stakeholders to standardize processes and accelerate onboarding of new vendors.
