CVS Health is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Lead to advance the Medicare Technology strategy and operating model. This senior role collaborates with Product, Engineering, Procurement, Security, Finance, Legal, Compliance and business stakeholders to scale initiatives and improve efficiency.

The position emphasizes cross‑functional leadership, vendor management, and AI enablement, reporting into the Medicare Technology leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in healthcare IT, strategic planning, or digital transformation.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, technology platforms and regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex initiatives.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Continuously improve the Medicare Technology operating model with governance, processes, and performance measures.
• Own Medicare Technology vendor operations including onboarding, performance, risk, and value realization.
• Partner with AI Enablement to manage use‑case intake, prioritization, and governance workflows.
• Oversee operating and capital expense planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Lead horizontal initiatives across Medicare Technology, including cloud strategy and end‑to‑end delivery across boundaries.
• Establish consistent vendor evaluation models and align with Procurement to accelerate onboarding.
