CVS Health seeks a Strategic Initiatives Lead to advance the Medicare Technology strategy across technology teams and lines of business, improving efficiency, consistency and transparency. The role focuses on vendor operations, AI enablement, and operating and capital expense management.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in healthcare IT, strategic planning, or digital transformation.
Strong understanding of healthcare systems, technology platforms and regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, HITECH).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex initiatives.
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Improve the Medicare Technology operating model by establishing common processes and governance.
Own Medicare Technology vendor operations including onboarding, performance, renewals, risk, and value realization.
Partner with AI Enablement to manage the AI portfolio and use-case lifecycle.
Oversee operating and capital expense planning including forecasting and variances.
Lead cross-organizational initiatives like defining cloud strategy and improving end‑to‑end delivery.
Collaborate with Ventures and Procurement to streamline vendor onboarding.
Advise Medicare Technology leadership by assessing trends and presenting recommendations.
