Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist for the 60287 WI ACL Laboratories - AMC St Lukes: Lab in Milwaukee. You will perform, evaluate, and monitor laboratory tests according to established protocols, ensure proper labeling and specimen handling, and help deliver timely, accurate results for patient care across departments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology and ASCP certification (MT/MLS/AMT) within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field required.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs, evaluates, and monitors laboratory tests according to approved protocols.
• Evaluates results for clinical significance and reports results per policy.
• Performs calibration, maintenance, and repair of instruments; recognizes malfunctions and corrects them.
