Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our patient care team in Oregon. The MSS will perform routine medical and testing procedures under direct supervision, support registration and referral management, and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced center environment.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient interactions, accurate documentation, and collaboration with clinicians to maintain efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship or 1+ year direct patient care experience.
• State requirements and applicable regulations must be met for employment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and assist with ancillary testing.
• Conduct rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, glucose, etc.).
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
• Triage emergent patients and manage routine medical procedures as ordered.
• Prepare procedure setup and assist with injury care and wound care.
