Concentra in Lake Oswego, Oregon is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to join our patient care team. You will perform routine medical procedures, support registration and referral management, and ensure a high-quality patient experience in a fast-paced setting.

The role includes DOT and non-DOT testing, assisting clinicians, and handling front and back office duties while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation to support safe and efficient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred.
• Or at least one year of direct patient care experience as a medical assistant.
• Military medical specialist experience considered if credentials meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for physical examinations, including vital signs and ancillary testing.
• Assist providers during examination and treatment.
• Provide front and back office duties including patient check-in/check-out and documentation.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure patient data accuracy.
• Order and manage supplies, equipment, and assist with patient flow.
