Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to join our patient care team. You will perform routine medical procedures under supervision, assist clinicians, and help with front and back office duties to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, conducting testing, and supporting referrals while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred, OR at least one year of direct patient care experience as a medical assistant, OR military medical specialist experience (must meet state requirements).

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for physical examinations, including vital signs and ancillary testing.
• Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, mono, glucose, etc.).
• Assist providers during examination and treatment.
• Greet patients, check in/out, and handle front office duties including multi-line phone system.
