Job summary

Concentra, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Norwich center. The MSS will perform routine medical procedures under clinician supervision and support in registration and referral management to deliver high-quality patient care and a smooth clinic experience.

The role requires efficient patient care, attention to documentation, and collaboration with center leadership to manage patient flow and maintain a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred or 1 year direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for exams including vital signs and ancillary testing.
• Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, glucose, etc.).
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
• Handle front and back office duties and patient records.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock exam rooms.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and safety rules.
• Attend staff meetings as required.
