LifeStance Health Inc. is seeking a Medical Services Coordinator in Friendswood, TX to coordinate medical care and support patients and clinicians.

You will handle in-person and remote patient interactions, ensure quality service, and assist with essential administrative tasks. The role involves managing prior authorizations, lab orders, records requests, and communications with pharmacies, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate EHR data.

Qualifikationen

• High School or equivalent required, associates/bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare operations, customer service, or similar role preferred.

Aufgaben

• Create a positive work environment; support in-office clinician and staff engagement activities.
• Provide strong customer service, respond quickly to patient needs, and manage potentially difficult situations.
• Communicate with peers, clinicians, and patients to support patient care and clinician satisfaction.
• Assist psychiatric clinicians with administrative tasks including prior authorizations, lab orders, and records requests.
• Coordinate patient communication among patient, medical staff, and pharmacy; manage phone system and medication questions.
• Ensure accuracy of patient pharmacy information in the medical record; scan documents into the EHR.
• Assist patients with telehealth access and Patient Portal issues; triage urgent requests and escalate when needed.
• Coordinate external referrals for patient care.
