Vail Health Hospital is seeking a Clinic Scheduler to manage incoming calls, answer scheduling questions, and coordinate appointments with providers. The role involves using the EHR system to schedule tests and procedures, verify patient demographics and insurance information, and route messages efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of administrative or similar experience, with preference for medical office experience and knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations.

Competenze

• 2 years administration or similar experience preferred.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.

Mansioni

• Answer incoming phone calls and field scheduling questions.
• Direct calls to appropriate parties and take/distribute messages.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with providers, locations, and payers.
• Schedule tests and procedures using the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Obtain patient demographics and insurance information with accuracy.
• Distribute faxes and manage necessary requests.
