Midwest Orthopedic and Musculoskeletal Alliance (MOMA) in Wauwatosa, WI is seeking an energetic Medical Scheduler to join our team. You will answer calls, complete pre-registration, verify insurance, and schedule appointments with the care team.

The ideal candidate has GED, 2 years in medical offices or with insurance, strong communication, attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft products and EMR software, and the ability to stay professional in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

GED or equivalent is required.
2 years of medical office experience preferred.
2 years of experience with insurance preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Mansioni

Answer the call-center phone with professional and kind demeanor.
Complete pre-registration and insurance verification and communicate financial responsibility during patient calls.
Obtain complete and accurately clinical, demographic, and financial information during the scheduling process.
Record and verify all forms and insurance information into the EMR.
Maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
