SunState Medical Specialists is seeking a Scheduler to coordinate patient appointments with physicians and midlevel providers, ensuring efficient daily treatment schedules.

The role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with experience in a medical office and proficiency in telephone, computer, and MS Office tools. On-site work with a busy clinical team is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in a medical office setting.
• Ability to sit, stand, and communicate with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients with providers and midlevel staff based on availability and diagnosis.
• Maintain daily treatment schedules as directed.
• Create daily patient schedule under guidance of Physician and staff.
• Maintain active hospital patient treatment list updated daily.
• Verify patient demographics on calls or visits.
• Manage all incoming calls and facilitate appointment scheduling or other actions.
• Distribute completed daily patient schedules and information.
• Distribute pre- and post-treatment information to patients.
