Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years scheduling in a multi-specialty clinic preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA privacy and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Schedule follow up visits for patients.
• Obtain pre-certifications and pre-authorizations as needed.
• Schedule medical tests and procedures for patients.
• Explain procedures and instructions to patients clearly.
• Call patients to schedule procedures and send follow-up letters.
• Use Allscripts, Centricity, and online paging systems; retrieve data from hospital systems.
