Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years scheduling in a multi-specialty clinic is preferred.
• Experience navigating multiple EHR systems is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Schedule follow-up visits for patients and return visits.
• Obtain appropriate pre-certification and pre-authorizations as needed.
• Schedule medical tests and procedures for patients.
• Discuss and clarify instructions for procedures with patients.
• Call patients to schedule procedures and send follow-up instructions.
• Use Allscripts and Centricity Business; retrieve information from hospital systems.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and provide friendly, patient-centered service.
• Other duties as assigned.
