Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a Medical Reception Supervisor to oversee the Medical Records and Medical Reception staff, working with office leadership and the Practice Manager to ensure efficient patient flow and outstanding service.

You will supervise day-to-day operations, coordinate scheduling and timekeeping, support budget development, and promote compliance with regulations while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered office culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a medical office with reception duties or cross-trained medical assisting.
• Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination skills in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day operations of assigned areas to ensure efficient and customer-responsive procedures.
• Ensures efficient scheduling for medical records and reception staff and coordinates timekeeping.
• Communicates with office leadership, providers, triage and staff on issues affecting daily operations; develops clinical protocols for compliance.
• Manages clerical audits, internal and external, for the office.
• Assists in development and oversight of the office budget.
