Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a capable Practice Manager to oversee clinical and administrative operations, drive profitability and CORE metrics, and ensure high-quality patient care. The role emphasizes staff leadership, recruitment, and process improvement across the practice(s).

You will partner with the SMD, providers, and management to align vision, manage performance, and maintain access for patients while supporting ongoing quality initiatives and patient experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1–2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Practice Management Certification or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years leadership experience in a medical office; two years supervising non-exempt staff; leadership role may substitute for direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Direct internal practice operations; set benchmarks, track and report progress.
• Research process improvements and implement changes.
• Collaborate with SMD, providers, and practice management to develop CORE Work plan.
• Suggest improvements to processes and customer experience.
• Assist with recruitment, hiring, orientation, training and coaching of staff.
• Maintain scheduling, time and attendance for staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and manage promotions and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure physician documentation and coding audit program is in place.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
