Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee clinical and administrative aspects of the practice(s), including profitability, revenue goals, and CORE metrics. role focuses on quality of care, patient satisfaction, staff development, and access for patients.

The position involves directing operations, improving processes, and leading staff through recruitment, scheduling, and performance management while supporting quality initiatives across Southeast Michigan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1–2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Practice Management Certification or similar credentials preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in a medical office.

Responsibilities

• Directs internal practice operations; creates benchmarks, tracks and reports progress.
• Researches process improvements/efficiencies and implements changes.
• Works with the SMD, providers and practice management to develop vision and direction and implement and manage the CORE Work plan.
• Provides suggestions to continually improve processes and the customer experience.
• Assists with recruitment, hiring, orientation, training and coaching of staff.
• Maintains scheduling, time and attendance for staff.
• Evaluates the performance of staff, recommends promotions and disciplinary action.
• Ensures that the practice maintains a physician documentation and coding audit program.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
